A Week of Prayerfully Considered Articles
I’ve quipped once before that it would be much easier if I chose to write about tulips, and not the Reformed kind! I often write about topics and subjects that I have been praying through. This week was, for me, a perfect storm of deeply personal articles. I had been drafting one particular article for over two months. That is how long, at times, it takes for me to prayerfully consider what goes from heart, to head, to computer, to published.
Part of my writing ministry is to comfort those with the comfort that I have received from God (2 Corinthians 1:4). Another aspect I believe I desire to do is challenge and encourage the general culture both secular and Christian where possible. And finally, I love women, and hope to serve, edify, and encourage them with my words and most importantly with the Word.
So I wanted to share three posts that fit into these categories that were prayerfully considered, and that I hope will encourage, challenge (if needed), and bless you.

Thank you for reading, tweeting, and sending me notes. Your words of encouragement are very meaningful to me.

I’m slowly pursuing my M.A. in biblical counseling because I desire to encourage others in the faith with the truth of God’s word. That’swhy I write—to encourage others in the faith with the truth of God’s word. And it is such an honor and great joy to be able to serve in this way during this season…
