General Bio:

Trillia Newbell is a freelance writer and fitness professional. You can regularly read her writings on faith and family in her local paper, “The Knoxville News-Sentinel”, and she has guest posted on the blog The Blazing Center. In November, Newbell launched a Christian women’s ezine, “Women of God Magazine” (www.wogmagazine.com ) where she is the managing editor.  Her fitness articles have been featured on Livestrong.com, “The Healthy Living Extra Magazine”, “The Knoxville Magazine”, “American Fitness Magazine” and she is currently writing for the” Southern Fried Fitness TV” which is a syndicated cable and PBS show on fitness and food. Newbell worked for her church campus ministry Volunteers for Christ where she helped lead Bible studies

Newbell has a B.S. in political science from the University of Tennessee. She was an intern with her church campus ministry, Volunteers for Christ in 2002, where she served through campus evangelism, leading Bible studies, and providing discipleship. She has worked for various ministries. In 2007, she was the Executive Producer of a workout CD of remixed music of Sovereign Grace Ministries called “In His Strength.” Newbell has been featured on television, radio and in her local paper including K-LOVE radio, Challies.com,   The Gospel Coalition, WBIR-Channel 10, “The Knoxville News-Sentinel”, PBS and more  Most importantly, Newbell is a wife and mother and lives in Knoxville, TN with her husband, Thern and two young children, Weston and Sydney. Fitness Bio

Trillia is a wife, mom, fitness professional and writer. She has been teaching group fitness collectively for seven years and in the fitness industry for over eight. She holds numerous certifications and helps train and certify aspiring fitness professionals as a Les Mills BODYPUMP® Assessor and AFAA Examiner and Presenter (in training). She writes freelance and contributes to several publications including “The Knoxville News-Sentinel”, “American Fitness Magazine”, Livestrong.com and many local magazines. She owned her own fitness studio and currently continues to operate an online fitness consulting business, Trill Fitness at www.trillfitnessonline.com.

Her greatest love besides God is her family. She is happily married to her best friend and love, Thern, and has two children.
